I Innovate And Bring New Possibilities In The world of entrepreneurship.

I’ve believed in the saying “Anything that is watched and measured improves” since the first time I ever read it. It made me feel that in this technology driven world where huge data is used to process anything and everything, a person with the right set of managerial and analytical skills can interpret the data to make sound decisions. I was naturally inclined towards technology, which made me take up Computer Science and Engineering as my major in graduation. During my under graduation, I had the opportunity to study courses on management and economics which helped me understand the importance of management in this fast paced dynamic world. I realized that having just technical knowledge would only take me so far and by gaining a management degree, I can further my professional ambitions.

I'm Specialized In The Management Of Start ups & Marketing Projects

During my sophomore year I had the opportunity to go beyond the curriculum and learn more about management and entrepreneurship through workshops. These workshops peaked my interest and created an immense urge within me to pursue entrepreneurial projects. My first experience was when I along with my team managed to create an online Pizza Ordering website along with payment gateway. This was both technically and managerially intensive project, which helped me understand the nuances of an online business model. Working on the project has greatly increased my real time understanding towards operations, management, supply chain and E-commerce. My college faculty applauded us for our project and this gave me motivation to pursue other ventures.

During my bachelor’s studies I established two more start-up ventures of my own. The first was an E-commerce website called ‘Telmart.’ Instead of investing in an inventory model, I tied up with local merchants to use the products in their inventories to make my start up economically viable. This idea had decreased my initial investment drastically and aided in decreasing the break-even period for my venture. This venture had not only brought out the entrepreneurship skills within me but also helped me learn in deep about the market forces. It had increased my understanding of consumer behaviour, helped me determine market demand and introduced me to the practical issues faced in inventory management.

I used the knowledge I obtained from the past experiences to start another venture called ‘TMCinemas’, which was a ticketing website for movies and events held in and around two South Indian states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. During my work as the founder of this company, I had to negotiate with the management of theatres to make my website as their primary online booking portal. Being the first professional exposure, besides the work related learning; the experience helped me imbibe a great amount of interpersonal skills to work with people of all ages. Since the field was not directly related to my core study, it involved me to learn extensively and to adapt to different work environments. This venture was a great stepping-stone for my growth in the entrepreneur sector, as I faced a lot of difficulties in getting customers to sign up with me, or even to spread the word about my initiative. However, my hard work and dedication paid off and this portal became extremely successful. I was able to sell it to a ticketing website called Book My Show for a valuation of USD 75,000.

Knowledge and Technology essentially are synonymous with one thing: they derive a purpose when put to good use. I used my passion and my communication abilities to become a part of several student community outreach programs. I am an active member of leading student run NGO called Street Cause, which works for upliftment of impoverished communities and welfare of women, teaching and mentoring children. I have worked as the Vice President, Operations of the organization, which is spread across more than 28 different colleges and has a membership of close to 12,000 students. As the head of operations, I had streamlined the organization’s task execution and work distribution among the volunteers. This experience helped me to better understand the issues related to operations in huge organizations and increased my problem solving skills.

After my brief stint in the start-up environment and my role in a student run NGO, I decided to take up a full time professional role in an MNC to increase my understanding of corporate culture. My very first job interview was with Amazon, and as soon as my interview started the interviewers very thoroughly impressed with my previous start-up experiences and my interpersonal skills, they were delighted to offer a job to me in their company. I was successful in getting a job as a Risk Investigator in the Transaction Risk Management Services Department. During my training I performed consistently well in all training examinations and managed to rank in the top 1% of my batch. Post training, I managed to find a new dynamic fraud pattern in the Buyer Transactions Services for which the company awarded me.

I worked with Amazon for a short period of time as I moved on to start another venture of mine. This is called EPR services. This venture caters to providing civil work services. EPR caters mostly to government enterprises. I started this venture in February 2018 itself and have been able to bring my business a revenue of over 40 lakh rupees in less than 2 and a half months. I have also started working at another company called PRECA, which is also a civil work business. Preca is a company that makes prefabricated structures and buildings. I am the assistant manager for operations at PRECA. At PRECA, I am currently working on a project with the State Bank Of India to build their data centre.

Meanwhile, I also started another venture, called Studio Zero 40, which is an art-based start up. My friend and I started this venture where we do art works for government buildings and offices. We get creative artwork done for both public and private sector enterprises. Some of the work Studio Zero 40 has been involved in is decoration of Warangal City with mural arts, doing creative artwork for the TRS Bhavana (Telangana Chief Minister’s party office) and C&DMA office (Commissioner and Director or Municipal Administration). Being a food-lover drove me to establish my own restaurant in Hyderabad, where I offer Continental and Chinese cuisine. I also invested in a milkshake franchisee by the name of Makers Of Milkshake, which is famous for its delicious thick milk shakes.
